Foxgear Built a Modern Echorec with their Echosex Baby

Foxgear is paying homage to the amazingly creamy textures and analog nuances of a vintage Binson Echorec unit with their Foxgear Echosex Baby.

The Echosex Baby relies on its vintage tone and textures, but adds a ton of modern amenities. Its Age knob sweeps from a small amount of modulation to random pitch shifting at the highest values. Delay time options that range from 60ms to 780ms and the ability to adjust feedback from a single repeat all the way up to self-oscillation when dimed, make the Echosex Baby a fit for any guitarist who loves warm repeats.

In our exclusive video demo we showcase the Echosex Baby and its Class A FET preamp section that faithfully reproduces those smooth, vintage tube tones the Echorec was made famous for. With the Echosex Baby, you can finally achieve the classic tones of legends like David Gilmour, Guy Pratt, and Steve Lukather with a space-saving stompbox design that’s built to last.

Nicholas

Nick started playing guitar in 2004 and stepped in as a drummer for his band shortly thereafter. Nick honed his performance and production skills with his projects released on labels like Deathwish Inc., Flesh & Bone, Save Your Generation, and more. At zZounds, Nick handles all Bass, Drums, and Effects Pedals marketing, and he's a huge fan of Fender Telecasters, fuzz pedals, his Marshall JTM 45, and DW Drums. Other loves are Formula 1, house cats, and Michigan history facts.
