Gibson SG Standard ’61
Let’s see…@ampturco plays a Gibson SG, plugged into an Orange Rockerverb and wears a Black Sabbath hoodie…we’re guessing we’re about to hear some DOOM.
Epiphone Dot
Things get jazzy when @jcassioguitar picks up his Epi Dot! Listen to that smooth, rolled-off top-end tone and incredible licks!
PRS Paul Reed Smith CE24
The smooth licks, the showmanship, the flippant disregard for shirt buttons, and of course, @hecto_romeroz’s PRS CE24…we might say this is better than Gnarls Barkley’s original. Does that make us crazy?
Jackson Pro Series Soloist SL2
When you think of a Jackson guitar, you think metal, and @ronsandhu captures the vibe perfectly with his rendition of this Queensryche solo on his Jackson Soloist SL2.
Fender American Pro Stratocaster
In the hands of @bodega_ray, a blue Fender American Pro Stratocaster transforms into a tone pony running free…or is it more of a soaring eagle? You decide.
Ibanez RG550 Genesis
This Dream Theater riff is way too prog to dance to, but we’re glad @marcoshreds‘ daughter was so into it. We gave up trying to headbang in whatever time signature that is and just admired the Desert Sun Yellow finish on that Ibanez RG550 Genesis.
Squier Classic Vibe ’50s Telecaster
Disclaimer: the artist featured in this video is none other than zZounds’ own in-house shredologist Justin, as featured in many, many of our videos.
Gretsch G5220 Electromatic Jet BT
If hot, greasy, finger-lickin’ good, old-time little-bit-country-little-bit-rock-n-roll-all-night guitar solos are your thing, you might just pick up what @woody_guitarmusic is putting down on this Gretsch G5220.
Schecter PT
The “PT” stands for Pete Townshend, but it’s Jake E. Lee that @alvaro93a3 is paying tribute to with his take on the solo from Ozzy’s “Bark at the Moon.”
LTD EC-1000
Deftones riffs always get props from us, and @benjammin_friend does not disappoint on his LTD EC-1000.
