The good people at Seamoon want to know, “Where has the funk gone?” They came up with a solution by building the Seamoon Funk Machine pedal — a booty-shaking, rump bumping good time in a stompbox built like a tank! Resurrected by all-star session bassist Neil Jason, the original Funk Machine was used on countless recordings through out Jason’s career. Not only did he want a Funk Machine that could hold up to the rigors of the road, but one to extend the great legacy of this legendary effect.
“This is a pedal that we used on so many records back in the day, we just love it. I’ve been trying to recreate it for a long time.”
Jason explained in the Seamoon Funk Machine launch video on the Seamoon YouTube channel.
The Seamoon Funk Machine is a fully analog envelope filter with onboard preamp and volume. The circuit is an updated version of the original design with the new Funk Machine allowing you to blend in your bypass signal for the ultimate tone control over your bass, guitar, or even keyboard!
