From discovered blueprints to a production model, the Gibson Theodore represents a trip through Gibson history. A few years ago, Gibson Custom released a recreation of a guitar designed by Ted McCarty, creator of the Les Paul and ES-335. Now available as a production model for the first time, the Gibson Theodore has a few changes from the Gibson Custom version, like a Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece as well as a set of humbuckers rather than P-90s.
Take a look at Theodore in our exclusive demo and hear why this unusually shaped guitar is all Gibson in the tone department!
