Ibanez Announces The Rock and Rebuild Charity Fundraiser

With 2017 coming to a close, many of us can look back on the year and find a lot to be grateful for. But for so many, the past year has been a challenge. Multiple catastrophic weather events and national tragedies have caused too many people to lose everything they have.

Ibanez has stepped up to do their part for those in need this holiday season with the launch of their Rock & Rebuild charity fundraiser. Reaching out to legendary guitarist Steve Vai for help, they’re raising money to donate directly to the Red Cross, with a goal of raising $15,000 in donations by January 6, 2018.

Any donor who contributes $10 or more to the Rock & Rebuild relief effort will be automatically entered into a drawing, and one lucky winner will receive an Ibanez JEM 77 “Woody” Steve Vai signature guitar, signed by Vai himself.

Really, it’s a win/win situation. You can help out people in need and possibly win a killer Ibanez guitar. We at zZounds have contributed and we hope that you can at least spare an extra $10 to support a good cause.

Corbin

At 12 years old, Corbin got his first guitar, a nearly unplayable Strat clone from a local music store. He played in a handful of punk, metal and post-rock bands, doing a few small DIY tours. Corbin earned a degree in Music and Sound Technology and has used it to self-record some records, as well as adding to his gear and music knowledge at zZounds, where he works as Product Manager for zZounds' Direct Commerce Platform.
