Austin bassist Kevin Smith has been playing upright and electric bass throughout Texas and around the world for more than 20 years. Currently on tour with Willie Nelson and Family, Kevin has toured with High Noon, Ronnie Dawson, The Derailers, Asleep At The Wheel, Dwight Yoakam, The Brian Setzer Orchestra, The Asylum Street Spankers, 8 1/2 Souvenirs, The Stone River Boys, Jesse Dayton and more. Smith received a Grammy nomination for 2009’s Willie And The Wheel and has recorded with Dwight Yoakam, Pam Tillis, Dan Hicks, Dale Watson, Heybale!, and many many other Americana, rockabilly, and country acts.
